Day 4

– Expand His Kingdom

“Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”

Matthew 6:10, NKJV

Reflect: When Jesus came to earth, He brought the Kingdom of God with Him.  As a result, blind eyes were opened, the deaf healed, demons were cast out, and the miraculous took place. God’s kingdom is not an earthly kingdom, but a Heavenly one. His kingdom is not in a certain place but within you. His Kingdom is not in word only, but with power.  When the kingdom of God is evident in our lives, it is shown by the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit. Our lives should closely resemble Jesus Christ himself.

1 John 4:17 says, “for as he is, so are we in this world.” This revelation that we were created to demonstrate the kingdom should challenge and excite you. Jesus demonstrated our potential to us as Spirit-filled believers.

Action: What specific things do you recall Jesus doing on this earth to show a broken world that God loved them? Meditate on the thought of you doing these same things everywhere you go. We are carriers of His kingdom. In His kingdom is freedom, provision, healing, love, wholeness, as well as immeasurably more than all we can ask, or imagine.
